Synthesizing Evidence, Synchronizing Practice and Policymaking

Evidence is the cornerstone of healthcare research and practice. We cannot do something if we don't know it well. This query leads to research and the creation of new knowledge. Such knowledge needs to be used by those who are working on healthcare problems in different settings. In this way, "evidence" has to be created and used for making a healthier society and world.

There are many organizations who are conducting research and disseminating the findings. World-renowned institutions such as Cochrane are making lasting impacts through synthesizing high-quality evidence that may inform healthcare practices. However, such efforts are limited in low and middle-income countries. Moreover, low income communities and non-profit organizations even in the high income countries may not have the resources and/or expertise to create/use evidence that they need most.

EviSyn Health aims to create intellectual and human resources that addressed such gaps in global health. It is a collaborative network of researchers and practitioners who have a common commitment to synthesizing evidence and synchronizing practices. It started its journey amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic with a small team of public health researchers extending intellectual support to global health community. It aims to continue this journey and make lasting changes in global health through evidence synthesis, dissemination, and more importantly, community empowerment that allows all to gain and use knowledge whenever they want.
